About
I’ve always been passionate about blending technology, security, and innovation to create lasting impact. What started with managing IT infrastructure for small businesses grew into a career of more than 20 years leading cybersecurity and engineering initiatives at organizations like Internet Security Systems (ISS), IBM, FedEx, First Data, and The Home Depot.
As a Distinguished Engineer at The Home Depot, I helped shape enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture, resilience strategies, and governance frameworks for one of the largest retailers in the world. My focus has always been on balancing innovation with security—bridging strategic leadership with technical execution to deliver real-world, sustainable outcomes.
I earned my degree in Political Science with a focus on Law and Information Systems from Georgia State University and have continued to build on that foundation through advanced programs and certifications in cybersecurity leadership, risk management, and security architecture. Outside of work, I find inspiration in my family—my son performs with a Taekwondo demonstration team, my daughter is both a pianist and volleyball player, and my wife makes a meaningful impact supporting HIV program initiatives at the CDC.
