About
Entro Security · Acquired by SailPoint, June 2026
Entro Security built a pioneering platform for discovering, contextualizing, and securing non-human identities (NHIs), the machine credentials, API keys, tokens, service accounts, and now AI agents that have come to outnumber human identities inside modern enterprises by a wide margin. The platform's proprietary NHIDR™ (Non-Human Identity Detection & Response) engine automatically discovers and secures more than 1,200 types of secrets, tokens, and certificates across 70+ enterprise sources, from CI/CD pipelines and codebases to container registries, tying each credential back to its permissions, purpose, and human owner.
Brightmind advised the Entro Security team through its sale process, which culminated in SailPoint's announcement of its intent to acquire the company in May 2026, with the transaction closing on June 29, 2026. Financial terms were not officially disclosed; Israeli outlet Calcalist reported the deal at approximately $200 million. Entro's technology is being integrated into SailPoint's Agentic Fabric platform, pairing SailPoint's identity graph, which connects human users, entitlements, machines, and agents, with Entro's credential-level lineage mapping, giving enterprises a unified view of exactly which application, script, or agent is using a given secret at any moment.
The Entro outcome reinforces a theme Brightmind invests behind: as AI agents proliferate across the enterprise, the identity and credential layer becomes as critical to secure as the network perimeter itself. Non-human and agentic identities are no longer a niche IT concern, they are the fastest-growing and most exploited identity class in the enterprise, and the market is consolidating quickly around platforms that can govern humans, machines, and agents together.
